Here are some of the flowers blooming in the autumn (September, October, and November) in the Pacific Northwest. This is not an exhaustive list but rather a starting point to help give you some ideas. Autumn is an ideal time for saturated color and texture. It’s the time of rose hips, seed pods, and golden grasses. Dahlias are really the star of the fall, but equally as lovely are black-eyed susans, asters, chrysanthemums, and Japanese anemones. Our fresh flower season usually draws to an end around early November with the first frost.
